Sara Combs(Acupuncturist)
Meet Dr. Sara Combs, Licensed Acupuncturist
I was raised in a small town in Ohio, and I am so happy to be back in the area where my roots are. I have always had a deep desire to help others, and I feel deeply honored to be able to do so here at home. I discovered acupuncture and herbal medicine through my own personal health journey and realized that it worked so well for me, that I wanted to help others with this ancient medicine. I went to school for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Dragon Rises College in Gainesville, Florida. There I received my Bachelors in Health Science and Masters in Oriental Medicine. After earning my Masters degree, I went on to receive my Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, California. While attending school, I received training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, and a unique diagnostic style of Shen Hammer pulse which allows me as a practitioner to treat the symptoms a person is suffering from as well as understand the root of the issue. I have received specialized training in Facial Rejuvenation and Microneedling. I also studied the ancient art of Tai Chi, which I happily share with my patients. As a general practitioner, I enjoy and have experience in treating a multitude of health issues amongst a diverse population. These health issues range from pain, women’s health issues, digestive issues, mental and emotional problems (PTSD, anxiety, depression) drug and alcohol addiction, to side effects of cancer treatment, thyroid disease and so much more. In my free time she enjoys listening to live music, spending time with my family and friends, reading, and learning to play piano..
I believe that to heal the body one must also heal the mind and spirit. I love providing patients with tools and knowledge to empower them in their own personal healing and growth.
I look forward to helping the good people of this community to regain a quality of life that allows them to do the things they love.
